Upcoming drama “Marry YOU” (literal title) has unveiled a new teaser video!
“Marry YOU” is a comedic family drama that follows the romance between Bong Chul Hee (Lee Yi Kyung), a bachelor from a remote island whose life goal is marriage, and Jung Ha Na (Jo Soo Min), a level 7 civil servant who is determined to stay single.
The recently released teaser for “Marry YOU” emphasizes the story’s main message, encouraging viewers to connect with it. It addresses the serious themes of marriage and singlehood in a bright and cheerful way, building excitement for the show.
The new video starts with Jung Ha Na asking, “You ask me why don’t I want to get married when my job is stable?” Bong Chul Hee casually replies, “I don’t have time to think about marriage or anything else. I’m too busy.” The conversation then shifts to realistic concerns about marriage, with comments like, “I’m seeing someone, but this level of relationship feels just right” and, “Do you own your home, or is it rented?” Jung Ha Na then adds, “That’s why living alone is the way to go.”
Later, Mayor Lim (Woo Hyun) responds to Jung Ha Na, saying, “So, if we could just get them to marry, wouldn’t that be amazing?” Each character then reflects on the question, “What does marriage mean to me?” Bong Chul Hee shares his dream of marrying a woman who appreciates his flaws, while Ji Seok (Seo Ji Seok) expresses his wish for a marriage based on mutual trust. Yeong Eun (Son So Mang) mentions that her ideal partner is someone with whom she feels comfortable. Their stories, as they navigate the choices between singlehood and marriage, instantly capture viewers’ interest.
