SBS’s upcoming drama “Good Partner” has unveiled a second teaser ahead of its premiere!
“Good Partner” is an office and law drama about star attorney Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), for whom divorce is her calling, and rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), who is new to divorce. The drama is penned by divorce lawyer Choi Yu Na of the relatable Instagram comic “Marriage Red” (literal title) and helmed by director Kim Ga Ram of “Nevertheless,” “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” and “Vampire Detective.”
The newly released teaser video kicks off with Cha Eun Kyung confidently declaring, “No one has handled divorce cases as extensively as I have.” Later, Eun Kyung says decisively, “It’s obviously an affair,” and Yu Ri is shocked to discover in a document that the breakdown of a marriage is indeed due to a husband’s infidelity. This shows just how accurate and experienced Eun Kyung is in terms of divorce cases.
Throughout the teaser, Cha Eun Kyung maintains her cold demeanor, whether she’s mentoring her junior or facing off with a client who grabs office supplies as if about to throw them at her. Yu Ri whispers to her co-worker, “Attorney Cha is so good at making people pissed off.”
However, despite her tough exterior, Eun Kyung’s professionalism earns respect and awe from Yu Ri. When Yu Ri asks, “How did you manage to do that?” Eun Kyung responds, “What can a lawyer do? Just beat them down with the law.”
