SBS’s upcoming drama “Good Partner” has offered a glimpse behind the scenes with its first making-of video!
“Good Partner” is an office and law drama about star lawyer Cha Eun Kyung (Jang Nara), for whom divorce is her calling, and rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri (Nam Ji Hyun), who is new to divorce. The drama is penned by divorce specialist lawyer Choi Yu Na of the relatable Instagram cartoon “Marriage Red” (literal title) and helmed by director Kim Ga Ram of “Nevertheless,” “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” and “Vampire Detective.”
The newly released video begins by introducing viewers to the contrasting personalities of the two lead characters. Veteran lawyer Cha Eun Kyung exudes confidence and determination as she flips through legal documents with a fierce gaze, while rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri radiates enthusiasm with a bright smile during a job interview.
The video continues to capture moments of their clashes, showing the two characters’ different values and perspectives. In one scene, Cha Eun Kyung questions, “Is there something that can’t be negotiated with money?” to which Yu Ri responds, “Something that can’t be done with money, that’s human emotion.”
However, despite the tension on screen, the off-screen chemistry between the two actresses shines through. Jang Nara and Nam Ji Hyun are seen sharing bright smiles and joyfully jumping to a rhythm while holding hands, raising anticipation for how their playful camaraderie will translate into the scenes.
