KBS2’s upcoming weekend drama “Iron Family” has shared a new teaser!
Penned by screenwriter Seo Sook Hyang of “Pasta,” “Don’t Dare to Dream” (also known as “Jealousy Incarnate”), and “Wok of Love,” “Iron Family” is a dark comedy about a family that has run a laundry business for three generations.
The newly released teaser video captures the tumultuous romance between Seo Kang Joo (Kim Jung Hyun) and Lee Da Rim (Geum Sae Rok), drawing viewers’ attention.
Da Rim, who suffers from a rare disease that gradually narrows her field of vision, exudes a bold and fearless charm. When she reunites with Kang Joo at a crosswalk after eight years, she bluntly tells him, “You don’t matter to me,” making Kang Joo feel incredibly small.
Eight years earlier, a youthful Da Rim boldly asks Kang Joo, “Do you want to sleep with me?” Kang Joo responds, “I got no money,” showing his clueless side. In the end, the two spend an unforgettable night together.
After enlisting in the military and living a hectic life, Kang Joo could not contact Da Rim for eight years. Burdened with guilt, he ends up saying something that he didn’t really mean: “I slept with you because you asked. I felt pity for you.”
