KBS 2TV’s “Iron Family” has unveiled a new making-of video for Episodes 5 to 8!
“Iron Family” is a new “romantic black comedy” about a family that has run a laundry business for three generations. Geum Sae Rok stars as Lee Da Rim, the youngest daughter of the Cheongryeom Laundry family, who suffers from a rare illness that progressively narrows her vision. Kim Jung Hyun plays Seo Kang Joo, an executive director at Jiseung Group, who belongs to the richest family in the Cheongryeom neighborhood.

The newly released video showcases the pleasant chemistry among the leads. After Lee Da Rim, Seo Kang Joo, and Cha Tae Woong (Choi Tae Joon) watch a movie together, they share a conversation outside the theater. Tae Woong appears wary as Kang Joo draws closer to Da Rim, but when the two men lock eyes, it looks as if bromance is budding, sparking laughter on set.
Later in the video, Choi Tae Joon is shown practicing throwing a can into a bin from a distance. Initially frustrated by his repeated failures, he shakes his head after numerous attempts. When he finally succeeds off-camera, it only adds to his determination to get it right.
In the end, he decides to crush the can before throwing it, leading to a successful shot on his next try. He humorously quips, “It feels like I made a free throw worth one point.”
