tvN’s “Lovely Runner” has shared a new making-of video!
Based on a popular web novel and penned by “True Beauty” writer Lee Si Eun, “Lovely Runner” is a time-slip romance drama that asks the question: “What would you do if you had the opportunity to save your ultimate bias?” Kim Hye Yoon stars as Im Sol, a passionate fan devastated by the death of her favorite star Ryu Sun Jae (Byeon Woo Seok), who goes back in time to save him.
In the newly released behind-the-scenes video, the cast continues to show great teamwork while filming. Between takes, Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon can’t stop bursting into laughter as they playfully tease each other. After shooting the house scene where Sun Jae grabs a stick, puts Sol behind him, and leads the way to investigate a noise, Kim Hye Yoon jokes that Byeon Woo Seok resembles Harry Potter wielding the stick. This prompts Byeon Woo Seok to start playing around with it, adding to the lighthearted atmosphere. The video ends with a cute moment where Byeon Woo Seok, Kim Hye Yoon, Seo Hye Won, and Song Ji Ho are all seated on a couch, their heads resting on each other’s shoulders.
During the beach scene, Byeon Woo Seok, Song Geon Hee, and Lee Seung Hyub appear nervous about entering the sea in the cold weather. As they prepare, Byeon Woo Seok humorously says, “I have no thoughts right now,” and asks Lee Seung Hyub, “Do you have any thoughts?” to which Lee Seung Hyub jokingly replies, “What are ‘thoughts’?”
Byeon Woo Seok’s professionalism also shines in the bed scene with Kim Hye Yoon. Along with the director, he offers numerous suggestions to make their movements look natural on camera. Additionally, his considerate nature is evident when he protects Kim Hye Yoon’s head while helping her up after shooting the scene where he falls on top of her during a strawberry-eating scene.
