MBC’s “2024 Idol Star Athletics Championships” (ISAC) has shared an exciting sneak peek of its upcoming Chuseok broadcast!
In just five days, MBC’s legendary “Idol Star Athletics Championships” special will return to air for the first time in two years. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, the special typically aired twice a year (once during the Lunar New Year holiday in the winter and once during the Chuseok holiday in the fall)—but due to COVID-19, the show took a three-year hiatus before returning during Chuseok 2022.
On September 10, MBC released its first preview of the upcoming 2024 Chuseok special, which will feature idols going head-to-head in five main event categories: track and field, archery, futsal, dance sports, and the newly added street dance.
The “2024 Idol Star Athletics Championships” will air in several parts over the Chuseok holiday from September 16 to 18.
