JTBC’s upcoming drama “My Sweet Mobster” has released a poster featuring Um Tae Goo, Kwon Yool, and Han Sun Hwa!
“My Sweet Mobster” is a new romance drama with surprising twists starring Um Tae Goo as Seo Ji Hwan, a man who has overcome his troubled past, and Han Sun Hwa as Go Eun Ha, a kids’ content creator. The drama promises a story of reconciling the past and rediscovering childhood innocence.
Um Tae Goo will play the role of Seo Ji Hwan, the CEO of the social enterprise Thirsty Deer, who has left behind his past as a former gang leader. Traveling nationwide to dismantle gangs, Seo Ji Hwan actively recruits former members upon their release from prison and guides them toward a fresh start.
Han Sun Hwa will portray Go Eun Ha, a kids’ content creator known as “Mini Unnie” who spares no effort to bring joy to children. Pursuing a minimalist approach to play without expensive toys, Eun Ha often faces criticism from her production company due to her low number of subscribers, but she remains unwaveringly bright, determined, and resilient.
Kwon Yool will star as Jang Hyun Woo, a prosecutor at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office and an enthusiastic subscriber of Mini Unnie. Jang Hyeon Woo exhibits endless kindness toward children visiting the prosecution office but maintains a firm belief that “people don’t change” when it comes to criminals. As a result, he harbors continuous suspicion toward Seo Ji Hwan, who legally takes former convicts under his wings.
The newly released poster captures Seo Ji Hwan and prosecutor Jang Hyun Woo facing off against one another, with Go Eun Ha in between them. Go Eun Ha has a gentle smile on her face as she holds a pink heart balloon in the center of the poster, with sparkling and innocent eyes befitting a kids’ content creator who protects the innocence of children.
Seo Ji Hwan, who is holding a toy fork with a heart on it, wears a serious expression, but there is something endearingly funny about the cute scar mark on his face. Meanwhile, Seo Ji Hwan’s nemesis, prosecutor Jang Hyun Woo, looks unexpectedly adorable with a heart-shaped mark on his cheek. Jang Hyun Woo is captured with a toy gun that shoots pink hearts instead of bullets, piquing curiosity about what kind of connection he will have with Go Eun Ha and Seo Ji Hwan. Why did an intimidating former gang leader and a prosecutor who punishes criminals fall in love with a kids’ content creator? And what kind of confrontation will unfold between Seo Ji Hwan and Jang Hyun Woo as they fight for Go Eun Ha’s love?
“My Sweet Mobster” is scheduled to premiere on June 12 at 8:50 p.m. KST.
