Um Ki Joon is tying the knot with his non-celebrity girlfriend this December.
It is reported that he has taken great care to protect the privacy of his soon-to-be wife and has not disclosed their relationship to the public. The couple’s wedding will also be held privately, with only family, relatives, and close acquaintances in attendance.
Um Ki Joon’s career started on stage. He debuted in 1995 with the play Richard III and went on to star in well-received productions like The Sorrows of Young Werther, Hedwig and Gwangwhamun Love Song.
In 2006, he made the jump to TV with a one-act drama called Drama City – Who Loved. Since then, he’s become a trusted actor, consistently delivering strong performances in dramas like Worlds Within, Phantom, Innocent Defendant, Heart Surgeons, the Penthouse series and Little Women.
Currently, Uhm Ki Joon is captivating audiences as the powerful villain Matthew Lee in SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama The Escape of the Seven-Resurrection.
