TWICE has set a new record on the Billboard 200!
On December 15 local time, Billboard announced that TWICE’s new mini album “Strategy” had debuted at No. 4 on its famous Top 200 Albums chart, which ranks the most popular albums in the United States.
With this achievement, TWICE has become the first K-pop girl group ever to land six different albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200—as well as the first to score eight chart entries overall. The group previously entered the chart with “MORE & MORE,” “Eyes wide open,” “Taste of Love,” “Formula of Love: O+T=<3,” “BETWEEN 1&2,” “READY TO BE,” and “With YOU-th.”
According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “With YOU-th” earned a total of 88,000 equivalent album units during the week ending on December 12. The album’s total score consisted of 81,000 traditional album sales—making it the second best-selling album of the week in the United States—and 6,500 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units, which translates to 8.86 million on-demand audio streams over the course of the week. The album racked up less than 500 track equivalent album (TEA) units in its first week.
Congratulations to TWICE on making Billboard history!
