Hwang Bo Ra Announces Upcoming Marriage to CEO Kim Young Hoon
2022 is indeed a wonderful year for South Korean stars and celebrity couples. After Son Ye Jin, Lee Honey, Jang Nara and more, “What’s Wrong With Secretary” actress Hwang Bo Ra confirmed her wedding this coming November 6 with her long-time boyfriend Kim Young Hoon.
On July 6, the bride-to-be shared the good news on her Instagram account.

Hwang Bo Ra wrote:
“Hello, I am Hwang Bo Ra. I am writing this because I have good news to share with you, and I want to personally deliver it to everyone who loves me. I am going to marry my long-time partner this coming November. Thanks to all the people who gave us their blessings, we were able to stay together with a stronger love. I want to thank everyone who always supported me. We will live happily together. Please always stay healthy. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, on the same day, Hwang Bo Ra’s agency Walkhouse Company, also announced that the couple, who have been together for almost ten years, decided to tie the knot before this year ends.

The “Vagabond” star will exchange vows with former actor and Walkhouse Company CEO Kim Young Hoon, also known as Cha Hyun Woo. The two started dating in 2013 and went public with their relationship in 2014.

Hwang Bo Ra appeared in rom-com dramas and played a variety of roles. She made her acting debut in 2003. The “My Girl” star has more than 30 K-dramas under her belt.
She currently appears in Disney+’s romance series “Kiss Sixth Sense,” alongside Seo Hye Ji.

Meanwhile, her husband-to-be Kim Young Hoon, formerly known as actor Cha Hyun Woo, began his career as part of the 90s K-pop duo Yes Brown. In 2000, he focused on acting and later on decided to open his agency. He is the current CEO of Walkhouse Company and the son of actor Kim Yong Gun and the younger brother of actor Ha Jung Woo.
