SUKFILM, the South Korean content creator renowned for its captivating BL series, recently launched its new series “Seoul Blues”. After the success of “Blue Boys” et “Bad Guy”, this new series promises to seduce fans with its eight episodes.
The K-drama stars Jeong Rui from “Bad Guy” and Choi Seung Jin of “Blue Boys”, alongside Lee Suha and Yoo Jinseok. On August 11, the production unveiled a teaser showing a tender moment between the two main actors. Daeyoung gently helps Jeong Ha tend to a cut, their faces close as Daeyoung advises him to keep the wound dry. Despite their growing feelings, the presence of Minji, a woman who loves Daeyoung and claims he considers her his girlfriend, complicates the situation.
Spoiler alert! The first episode begins with Daeyoung and Jeong Ha meeting up with their friend Minji. They recall their high school past, revealing that Jeong Ha, at 26, has never been kissed. Daeyoung then offers to teach him, creating some fun tension. When Minji walks away, a scene from their past shows that Daeyoung and Jeong Ha had kissed before, although Jeong Ha seems not to remember or pretend. Daeyoung, encouraged by his memories, confesses his feelings to Jeong Ha, but is rejected because Jeong Ha prefers to preserve their friendship.
The episode ends on a cliffhanger with Minji also confessing her feelings to Daeyoung, leaving viewers eager to find out how this web of emotions will play out in future episodes.
Official Synopsis: Jeong Ha, Daeyoung and Minji have been friends since childhood. At a party, Daeyoung confesses to Jeong Ha that he loves her. Jeong Ha, surprised, rejects his feelings. Soon after, Daeyoung announces that he is dating Minji, which surprises Jeong Ha but he tries to maintain their friendship.
