On February 10, “Dream High” star and T-ARA member Jiyeon wrote a long letter to her fans through her personal Instagram account.
She begins her letter by reminiscing about her journey as an idol and her courageous venture into the acting scene. Jiyeon also extends her gratitude to everyone who supported her, saying, “I debuted in my teens and time flew by, I’m in my 30s now. I was surrounded by anxiety and uncertainties. I was young and scared.”
“I wanted to give up in my 20s but thanks to you who cheered me on, I was able to pass through the agony and get to where I am today,” she continued.
Jiyeon talks about her personal love life and how she met her boyfriend. According to the singer-actress, she wants people to hear the news from her, rather than other people.
She shares that she and her fiance, Hwang Jae Gyun, met through a mutual friend. Romance and happiness exude from the singer-actress as she describes the love of her life, “He takes good care of me. He’s considerate, and he also truly made me feel what happiness is.”
Although worried about her fans’ reactions, Jiyeon thinks that it’s the best time to break the news to the public as she and Hwang Jae Gyun plan to tie the knot in winter this year.
