The Color Members Profile

The Color (더 칼라) was originally a four-member Korean-Chinese girl group under Woju Entertainment that debuted with the album 다보여줘 on June 1, 2003. The group’s final lineup consisted of Ning Danlin, Cindy, and Zhener. The Color promoted in Korea and China. The group later shifted their main activities to the Chinese market when they debuted in China with “三心二意” on October 26, 2005. The group later supposedly reformed into a trio called B.U.T in late 2006, with only Xiaodi staying (Source). After some sort of hiatus, they came back with a whole new lineup as The Color once again.

What is the meaning of ‘The Color’?
The Color represents countless colors, symbolizing the colorful and personalized life of the younger generation, and the bright hues represent a bright point of view and a persistent spirit. Naming their group after this shows that they would lead the latest fashion of the younger generation, gather the culmination of various dreams, and interpret themselves & the mission of life. Using “The Color” as the name is not a product of whims. “Color” is not only a color here, but has become a fashion and avant-garde synonym for the younger generation.
