The MBC’s historical Kdrama is not giving the title anytime soon as Lee Se Young and 2PM Junho’s “The Red Sleeve Cuff” dominates the most buzzworthy drama and actor rankings.
For the 3rd week of December, the Friday and Saturday series topped Good Data Corporation’s latest rankings.
The weekly chart is based on the data collected from news articles, videos, social media posts, and online communities that generated the most popularity from currently airing or upcoming Kdramas.
‘The Red Sleeve Cuff’ Reigns as Most Buzzworthy Drama for Six Straight Weeks
As the historical drama surprises viewers with shocking twists and turns, “The Red Sleeve Cuff” remains the most buzzworthy drama for six consecutive weeks with 19.42 points.
Apart from it, the popularity of the series transpired to its soaring viewership, continuing to maintain the double-digit status of 13.3 percent average nationwide rating for its episode 12, setting a new personal best.
Interestingly, the newly debuted “Snowdrop” came in second place, garnering 14.63 points.
This will be the first time that Jung Hae In and BLACKPINK Jisoo’s Kdrama entered the weekly rankings despite being heavily criticized due to an alleged historical distortion.
From fifth, KBS’ historical series “The King’s Affection” jumped to number 3 with 8.19 points.
Aside from “Snowdrop” two more newcomers entered Good Data Corporation’s weekly rankings. First is “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” at fourth place while Lee Dong Wook and Wi Ha Joon’s “Bad and Crazy” landed in the top nine.
Unfortunately, the KBS series “The King of Tears, Lee Bang Won” got dumped from the top spot and now sits at seventh place.
To recall, Joo Sang Wook’s historical drama previously ranked second during its premiere.

Lee Se Young and 2PM Junho Still Remains the Leading Most Buzzworthy Actor
Of course, the popularity of “The Red Sleeve Cuff” also reflects the lead stars.
For the third week of December, Lee Se Young cemented the top spot as the most buzzworthy actor, followed by her co-star 2PM’s Lee Junho at second.

Interestingly, four new names were added to this week’s chart starting with BLACKPINK Jisoo at fourth place. This is due to the overwhelming support of her fans for her debut as an actress.
Another newcomer on the list is Lee Jin Wook for “Bulgasal: Immortal Souls” followed by “Snowdrop” star Jung Hae In at ninth.
Capping off the top 10 is Lee Dong Wook for his stunning visuals and not to mention his jaw-dropping abs in “Bad and Crazy.”
