THE BOYZ’s Sunwoo became an established global fashion icon after he was selected to be the global ambassador for the fashion brand AMIRI.
On June 11, fashion media outlet WWD announced, “Korean musician Sunwoo has been appointed the new global ambassador for AMIRI. This collaboration between Sunwoo and AMIRI is a testament to the brand’s philosophy of merging music and fashion, which the singer embodies.
Designer Mike Amiri chose Sunwoo. The two first met at the AMIRI 2024 Fall/Winter runway show in Paris in January 2024. They bonded over their shared love for music, style, and artistic freedom.
Mike Amiri expressed his admiration for Sunwoo in a heartfelt statement, “The appointment of the rising icon Sunwoo as an ambassador is a significant milestone in the evolution of AMIRI’s spirit. THE BOYZ, to which Sunwoo belongs, released their second full album, ‘PHANTASY’ Pt.3 ‘Love Letter,’ in March. The album achieved significant success by topping various music and album charts globally. The group will also hold the ‘THE BOYZ WORLD TOUR: ZENERATION II’ from July 12 to 14 at KSPO DOME (Olympic Park Gymnastics Arena) in Seoul, where they will meet with their fans.
