K-pop group The Boyz is officially leaving IST Entertainment to join ONE HUNDRED, an agency founded by singer MC Mong and p_Arc Group Chairman Cha Ka Won.

On November 15th, reports confirmed that all eleven members of The Boyz have signed exclusive contracts with ONE HUNDRED, a move said to highlight the group’s loyalty to each other. The act is set to begin activities under their new agency in mid-December, putting to rest previous rumors that the group would sign with Big Planet Made.

ONE HUNDRED also operates under a broader label structure that includes Big Planet Made (home to artists like Lee Seung Gi and Taemin) and INB100, which represents EXO-CBX (Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin).

It remains uncertain whether The Boyz will be able to retain their group name as they transition agencies. The trademark for “The Boyz” is currently owned by IST Entertainment, and discussions over name rights have just begun. Should negotiations fall through, the group may be required to rebrand under a new name.

The Boyz recently made their comeback with TRIGGER, their ninth mini album, on October 28th, marking their return after approximately seven months following the release of their second full album, [PHANTASY] Pt.3 Love Letter, in March. According to Hanteo Chart, TRIGGER sold around 560,000 copies in its first week, marking The Boyz’s third half-million-selling album.

Debuted in 2017, The Boyz gained prominence as the winner of Mnet’s music survival show Road to Kingdom in 2020, showcasing standout performances that helped grow their fanbase. They further expanded their reach by appearing on Kingdom and have since released multiple hits, including “Thrill Ride” and “The Stealer,” solidifying their active presence in the K-pop scene.
