Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin, the famous partners of ‘s Crash Landing on You , won the title of “Best K-Drama Couple of the Decade” alongside Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun, stars of Guardian: The Lonely and Great God (Goblin). This distinction was awarded following a recent survey celebrating Starnews’ 20th anniversary, conducted by Gallup Korea from August 19-23. The survey collected responses from 1,052 men and women aged 19 to 69 across South Korea.
The iconic couple of Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin in Crash Landing on You was particularly popular with men in their 50s (25%) and women in their 30s (28%). Check out the full rankings below
For their part, Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun of Goblin received the most votes from men aged 19 to 29 (29%) and women in their 40s (28%).
In third place with 21% of the votes are Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won of Queen of Tears , a couple equally liked by men and women in a balanced way.
Fourth place goes to Descendants of the Sun’s Mr. Sunshine ‘s Lee Byung Hun and Kim Tae Ri with 15%. Park Bo Gum and Hyeri from Reply 1988 occupy sixth place (13%); Gong Hyo Jin and Kang Ha Neul of When the Camellia Blooms ranked seventh (11%); Lovely Runner ‘s Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon came in eighth (9%); Namkoong Min and Ahn Eun Jin of My Dearest take ninth place (8%); and Park Bo Gum and Kim Yoo Jung of Love in the Moonlight placed tenth (7%), highlighting Park Bo Gum’s popularity with two shows in the top 10.
Tied for 11th place, My Liberation Notes’ The Red Sleeve ‘s Lee Junho and Lee Se Young each received 7% of the votes; Choi Woo Shik and Kim Da Mi of Our Beloved Summer ranked 13th (6%); tied for 14th place with 5% each, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha King the Land ‘s Lee Junho and YoonA Discovery of Love’s Eric and Jung Yu Mi , Eric and Seo Hyun Jin from Another Miss Oh , and Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young from What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim ; 19th place goes to Lee Jin Wook and Jung Yu Mi from I Need Romance 2012 (4%); and 20th place is occupied by Pinocchio (3%).
