Marking its 4th year, Actors’ House is a special event that offers an in-depth look into the works of actors who represent the contemporary film industry. This year’s event draws attention with prominent figures’ participation, including Sul Kyung Gu, Park Bo Young, Hwang Jung Min and Chun Woo Hee.
Sul Kyung Gu, known for his limitless transformations through various roles, will be featured at the Actors’ House. Continuously expanding his spectrum by navigating different themes, genres and characters, he has consistently garnered praise from audiences for his solid acting skills. Most recently, he crafted a new iconic character in Netflix series The Whirlwind (2024). At the Actors’ House, Sul Kyung Gu is set to showcase his true essence as an actor.
Park Bo Young will also meet with the audience in Busan. After skyrocketing to fame as a rising star in Chungmuro with the success of the 2008 film Scandal Makers, she has showcased her diverse charm across both film and TV in works such as drama Strong Girl Bong-soon (2017) and film On Your Wedding Day (2018). Recently, Park Bo Young delivered impressive performances in Concrete Utopia (2023) and Daily Dose of Sunshine (2023), further proving her wide acting range. She is set to share her rich acting experiences with the audience in Busan, offering them a particular time.
One of the highest-grossing actors Hwang Jung Min, who has conquered genres from noir to romance, will also attend this year’s Actors’ House. Known for surpassing 10 million admissions with films such as Ode to My Father (2014), Veteran (2015) and 12.12: The Day (2023), Hwang Jung Min consistently leaves a lasting impression with each role. Through this program, he will share candid stories about his acting career and personal experiences.
Chun Woo Hee, who made a strong impression and gained attention through the 2011 film Sunny, will also meet with the audience. She has won the hearts of many with her intense yet delicate performances in both films and dramas, such as The Wailing (2016), Be Melodramatic (2019) and The 8 Show (2024). Chun Woo Hee is expected to share meaningful stories during this year’s Actors’ House with the audience.
The Actors’ House program is open to the public with an entrance fee of 10,000 KRW. All profits from the event will be donated to the international relief organization Save the Children. Tickets can be purchased on the BIFF website from Tuesday, September 24th, 14:00 KST.
