JTBC’s upcoming drama “Good Boy” has unveiled the first look at Tae Won Suk’s character!
“Good Boy” is an action-packed comic drama that follows the journey of a group of Olympic medalists who, faced with financial struggles, short career spans, injuries, and other challenges, become special police officers through special recruitment. Together, they form the “Olympics Avengers” and use their unique skills acquired during their time as athletes to fight violent crime. The drama stars Park Bo Gum, Kim So Hyun, Oh Jung Se, Lee Sang Yi, Heo Sung Tae, and Tae Won Suk.
Tae Won Suk plays Shin Jae Hong, the first South Korean to win a medal in men’s discus throw. In the newly released stills, Shin Jae Hong is seen making history as the first South Korean athlete to secure a bronze medal in a field where the nation has typically underperformed.
Despite his impressive achievement, Shin Jae Hong later applies for special employment to be a member of the Special Violent Crime Unit to support his family. Contrary to his formidable physique and intense appearance, he is a family-oriented man with a surprisingly delicate and gentle side. In the drama, he teams up with Yoon Dong Joo (Park Bo Gum) and Ji Han Na (Kim So Hyun) in the Special Violent Crime Unit, where the trio is set to showcase heartwarming chemistry.
“Good Boy” is slated to premiere in the second half of 2024. Stay tuned for more updates!
