JTBC’s “Strong Girl Namsoon” is on the rise!

A spin-off of the hit drama “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon,” “Strong Girl Namsoon” is a new comedy about three generations of women born with unbelievable strength as they investigate drug-related crimes occurring around the Gangnam area.

On October 8, “Strong Girl Namsoon” enjoyed an impressive jump in viewership for its second episode. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast of the drama scored an average nationwide rating of 6.1 percent, marking a nearly 2 percent increase from its premiere the night before.

Meanwhile, after a weeklong hiatus, KBS 2TV’s new drama “Live Your Own Life” saw a rise in viewership as it returned to air on No. 1 ratings. The fifth episode of the series scored an average nationwide rating of 13.7 percent, making it the most-watched program of any kind to air on Sunday.

tvN’s “Arthdal Chronicles 2” also returned to air last night on a ratings increase after a two-week hiatus: the latest episode of the fantasy drama climbed to an average nationwide rating of 3.6 percent.
