Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on August 17!
Stray Kids’ latest mini album “ATE” topped the World Albums chart for the third week in a row, and it also spent its third consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 13.
BTS’s Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” spent its third week at No. 2 on the World Albums chart, in addition to staying strong at No. 32 on the Billboard 200.
ENHYPEN’s latest album “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” held onto its spot at No. 3 in its fourth week on the World Albums chart, and it also spent a fourth week on the Billboard 200 at No. 54.
Red Velvet’s latest mini album “Cosmic” debuted at No. 4 on this week’s World Albums chart following its physical release in the United States. (Although “Cosmic” was released in Korea and on digital platforms in June, the physical version of the mini album was only released in the United States on August 2.) “Cosmic” also became Red Velvet’s first album ever to enter the Billboard 200 this week.
RIIZE’s first mini album “RIIZING” similarly debuted at No. 5 on the World Albums chart following its own physical release in the United States. (Like “Cosmic,” “RIIZING” was only physically released in the United States on August 2, despite having been available in Korea and on digital platforms since June.)
Meanwhile, aespa’s studio album “Armageddon” stayed strong at No. 7 in its 11th week on the World Albums chart.
ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.1” ranked No. 9 in its 10th consecutive week on the chart, while SEVENTEEN’s “17 IS RIGHT HERE” followed at No. 10 in its 15th week.
TXT’s “minisode 3: TOMORROW” held relatively steady at No. 11 in its 19th week on the chart, with BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” taking No. 13 in its 113th week.
Finally, NewJeans’ 2023 EP “Get Up” rounded out the top 15 in its 55th overall week on the chart.
