For the second week in a row, Stray Kids’ “ATE” was the best-selling album in the United States!
Last week, Stray Kids’ new mini album “ATE” debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart, making Stray Kids the first group from any country to have their first five charting albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 (and only the second artist overall). “ATE” also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales chart after achieving the second-biggest sales week of any album in 2024, bested only by Taylor Swift’s “The Tortured Poet Department.”
On August 4 local time, Billboard revealed that “ATE” was now spending its second week at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart, meaning that it was once again the best-selling album of the week in the United States.
“ATE” also stayed strong at No. 6 on the Billboard 200, making it Stray Kids’ third album to spend multiple weeks in the top 10 of the chart (following their previous albums “★★★★★ [5-STAR]” and “ROCK-STAR”).
According to Luminate (formerly Nielsen Music), “ATE” earned a total of 52,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending on August 1.
Congratulations to Stray Kids!
