“Squid Game” Season 2 has released the first poster!
On September 19, Netflix announced, “It’s almost time to rejoin the game. The special teaser for ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 will drop tomorrow,” and revealed the drama’s first poster.
“Squid Game” centers on a mysterious survival game with a reward of 45.6 billion won (approximately $33 million) on the line. Season 2 picks up with Seong Gi Hun (Lee Jung Jae), who gave up on going to the United States to pursue his own goals linked to the deadly game he won in Season 1.
The poster features the title “Squid Game 2” and the tagline, “The game will not stop.” It depicts a participant in a green jersey being dragged away by a staff member in a pink jumpsuit, leaving a trail of blood behind. The poster also includes a black coffin with a bright pink ribbon, set against a sports track backdrop.

Netflix, along with stars Lee Jung Jae, Lee Byung Hun, and Wi Ha Joon, also took time to review viewers’ theories about Season 2.
Amid the many speculations, Lee Byung Hun said, “The guesses are interesting but not very close to what’s actually happening,” while Lee Jung Jae added, “It will be even more exciting than you can imagine,” boosting anticipation for the new season.
The upcoming season will star Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, Park Gyu Young, Lee Jin Uk, Park Sung Hoon, Yang Dong Geun, Kang Ae Sim, David Lee, T.O.P, Noh Jae Won, Jo Yu Ri, Won Ji An, and more.
