Notably, “Squid Game 2” has been nominated ahead of its December 26 premiere, marking a rare occurrence. To be nominated for the Golden Globes, the project must air this year and be submitted to the organizers before November 4, meaning Netflix submitted “Squid Game 2” in advance.
This year’s annual Golden Globes will take place on January 5, 2025 at 5 p.m. PT.
