Song Hye Kyo has graced the cover of Elle Korea’s September issue!
In an interview following her photo shoot for Elle Korea, actress Song Hye Kyo talked about what she gained from the hit drama “The Glory.”
“Since it was a genre I hadn’t tried before, I had a lot of worries and fears,” she said. “But fortunately, it received a lot of love, and I had fun. It gave me confidence that I can do even better in the future, a desire to show an improved version of myself, and the courage to challenge myself with new things.”
Regarding her upcoming film “Dark Nuns,” she commented, “I’m not a huge fan of the occult genre, but my mother really likes it a lot, so I was familiar with it from a young age. I didn’t want my next project after ‘The Glory’ to be a romance or a love story. Fortunately, right at that time, I came across ‘Dark Nuns.’ Watching myself on the monitor as I fought felt new and refreshing, and I was excited about discovering a new side of myself through completing this challenge.”
Song Hye Kyo went on to reveal that she likes people who can make her happy, even just through small conversations. She shared, “I am especially fortunate to be surrounded by good adults. Life isn’t always happy, and during tough times, I think the adults around me always guided me well onto a good path. That’s why I always strive to be a good adult myself.”
Reflecting on her long-standing acting career, she remarked, “I have always done my best within the time given to me. The results may not always be good, but whether in the past, present, or future, I will continue to work quietly and diligently, just as I always have. I’ll accept criticism when necessary and appreciate praise when it comes.”
