Song Hye Kyo may be reuniting with scriptwriter Noh Hee Kyung on a new project!
On April 1, Xportsnews reported that Song Hye Kyo will be starring in a new project penned by Noh Hee Kyung. The two previously worked together in the 2008 drama “Worlds Within” and the 2013 drama “That Winter, The Wind Blows.”
In response to the reports, a source from Song Hye Kyo’s agency UAA shared, “We received the synopsis and project proposal from the production company of the new project. The actress is positively reviewing the offer.” If Song Hye Kyo accepts, this will be her third time working with writer Noh Hee Kyung.
According to the reports, Noh Hee Kyung’s new project is a modern historical drama that depicts the realistic scenes of people in the broadcasting industry. The drama will capture the passion of the people who passed through a turbulent historical tunnel and experienced the birth of South Korea’s entertainment industry.
Noh Hee Kyung previously penned “Lie” (literal title), “Beautiful Than a Flower,” “Dear My Friends,” “Our Blues,” and more. Song Hye Kyo is currently filming for her new movie “Dark Nuns” (literal translation), which is a spin off of Kang Dong Won’s hit 2015 film “The Priests.”
