The much-anticipated film “A Normal Family” has officially pushed back its release date.
Following an overwhelmingly positive reception from both domestic media and critics after its press screening, “A Normal Family” will now premiere on October 16. Originally, the film was slated for release on October 9, but it appears the shift was made to avoid competition with other major movies like “Love in the Big City” and “Joker: Folie à Deux,” set to release on October 1 in South Korea.
Based on Herman Koch’s novel “The Dinner,” “A Normal Family” follows a suspenseful story about four people whose lives fall apart after they watch CCTV footage of their children committing a crime.
Directed by Hur Jin Ho, best known for “The Last Princess,” and featuring a stellar cast including Sol Kyung Gu, Jang Dong Gun, Kim Hee Ae, and Claudia Kim, the film has garnered significant buzz for the actors’ powerful performances and unpredictable storyline.
