(G)I-DLE’s Shuhua is set to perform at the opening game of the 2024 MLB World Tour: Seoul Series, but will be absent from today’s episode of Mnet’s “M Countdown.”
Previously, it was confirmed that (G)I-DLE would deliver a celebratory performance at the opening game of the 2024 MLB World Tour: Seoul Series on March 21 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
(G)I-DLE’s agency Cube Entertainment announced, “Shuhua will be performing at the MLB World Tour: Seoul Series at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.” They added, “The MLB event has been planned for a long time, allowing Shuhua ample time to prepare.”
However, Shuhua will not participate in (G)I-DLE’s performance on today’s episode of Mnet’s “M Countdown” airing on March 21. (G)I-DLE is set to perform on “M Countdown” in celebration of the chart-topping success of “Fate,” which climbed back up and claimed the No. 1 spot on music charts despite being released in January.
Cube Entertainment explained, “This stage was hurriedly arranged [as a gesture] to thank the fans, so Shuhua could not participate in the preparations. We ask for your kind understanding.”
On February 8, Cube Entertainment announced that (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua would temporarily suspend all activities to prioritize rest and recovery after constantly suffering from persistent dizziness caused by health issues.
