Shin Min-a and Kim Young-dae are set to start filming for tvN’s upcoming K-drama titled “No Gain No Love”, in which they play the main characters and which will premiere on Monday, August 26, 2024 at 20 p.m. :50 PM KST.
Screenwriter Kim Hye-young, behind “Her Private Life,” and director Kim Jeong-sik, known for “Work Later Drink Now” and “Strong Girl Nam-soon,” team up to create a series that goes beyond humor and romance. In addition to the broadcast of some images from the drama and photos of the four actors arranged in a carousel, fans also have a first glimpse of the appearance of the actors playing their respective characters. No Gain No Love: The actors and the plot
In No Gain No Love we witness the story of a woman who plans to have a fake marriage in order to get a promotion at work, which leads her to persuade a man who, while accepting the ridiculous offer , will end up paying the price. Shin Min-a plays Son Hae-young, a profit and loss accounting specialist who hates losing money in her romantic and personal relationships. The latter often views her relationships as a mere break-even point, so much so that she arranges a fictitious marriage when she fears being deprived of a promotion at work.
For his part, Kim Young dae plays Kim Ji-wook, an evening employee at a convenience store who also serves as a neighborhood watchman and civilian police officer. With his genuine nature, work ethic, and inability to neglect those in need, Ji-wook is the ideal part-time employee. Ji-wook lands a part-time job as a groom who only attends the wedding after receiving a crazy proposal from a client named Son Hae-young.
Meanwhile, Lee Sang-yi plays Bok Gyuhyeon, a third-generation single CEO of a chaebol who rejects destiny and romantic love, while Haeyoung works at Kkulbee Education, where Gyu-hyeon is the president. . As for Han Ji-hyun, she introduces herself to the audience as Nam Yeon, a 19-year-old online novelist who only writes about love.
