tvN’s upcoming drama “No Gain No Love” (previously referred to as “Because I Want No Loss”) is gearing up for its premiere!
Written by writer Kim Hye Young of “Her Private Life,” “No Gain No Love” is a rom-com drama that tells the story of Son Hae Young (Shin Min Ah), a woman who fakes her marriage because she doesn’t want to take any loss and Kim Ji Wook (Kim Young Dae), a man who becomes her fake husband because he doesn’t want to cause any harm.
Shin Min Ah takes on the role of Son Hae Young, who hates to lose money no matter when, where, and with whom. When she is at risk of missing out on a promotion at her company, she plans a fake marriage.
Kim Young Dae plays Kim Ji Wook, a night shift part-timer at a convenience store who is called a civilian police officer and righteous man in the neighborhood. He receives an unlikely proposal from Son Hae Young, a customer with whom he feels especially incompatible, and accepts to act the part of a fake groom as another part-time job.
Lee Sang Yi stars as Bok Gyu Hyun, a CEO and third-generation chaebol who does not believe in fated love. Gyu Hyun is the president of Kkulbee Education where Son Hae Young works. He accidentally reads a web novel written by Nam Ja Yeon (Han Ji Hyun) and actively leaves comments while hiding his identity.
Han Ji Hyun portrays Nam Ja Yeon, a writer with a pen name of Yeon Bo Ra, who is famous for R-rated romance web novels. Nam Ja Yeon lives together with Son Hae Young, who is more like family to her. One day, Ja Yeon unintentionally becomes entangled with Son Hae Young’s boss Bok Gyu Hyun.
“No Gain No Love” is slated to premiere on August 26 at 8:50 p.m. KST. Stay tuned!
