The highly anticipated Genie TV original drama To My Haeri (literal title), starring Shin Hye Sun, Lee Jin Wook, Kang Hoon, and Jo Hye Joo, is set to premiere on September 23rd.
To My Haeri is a heartwarming romance about announcer Eun Ho, who discovers a new personality, and her ex-boyfriend Hyun Oh, as they heal hidden wounds from their past. The series delves into dissociative identity disorder and is directed by Jung Ji Hyun, known for Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Search: WWW, with writing by Han Ga Ram of When the Weather Is Fine.
Shin Hye Sun will captivate audiences in a dual role as Eun Ho, a hardworking announcer, and Joo Hae Ri, a scholarship student. Lee Jin Wook transforms into elite announcer Jung Hyun Oh, navigating a sweet and bitter reunion with his ex-girlfriend Eun Ho.
Kang Hoon portrays Kang Joo Yeon, an exemplary student turned announcer who is unfamiliar with love. Joo Yeon, having attended all-male schools and the Korea Military Academy, has been single all his life. Jo Hye Joo plays Baek Hye Yeon, a versatile Gen Z announcer. She has been harboring a crush on Joo Yeon for three years. Despite her bright spirit, she is vulnerable to loneliness.
