Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!

In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification.

This month, SEVENTEEN earned three separate certifications for their latest mini album “SPILL THE FEELS.” The regular version of the album received a triple million certification for over 3 million copies sold, while both the KiT and Weverse versions were certified platinum after selling 250,000 copies each.

Meanwhile, aespa’s “Whiplash” earned a triple platinum certification for over 750,000 copies sold since its release.

Both ITZY’s “GOLD” and Hwang Young Woong’s “Your Side” were certified double platinum for selling over 500,000 copies each.

BABYMONSTER earned two separate platinum certifications for their first full-length album “DRIP”: both the regular version of the mini album and the Nemo version were certified platinum after selling 250,000 copies each.

THE BOYZ’s “TRIGGER,” tripleS Visionary Vision’s “Performante,” and ILLIT’s “I’LL LIKE YOU” were all also certified platinum for selling over 250,000 each.

Meanwhile, Lee Mujin received two separate certifications in the streaming category this month. His hit song “Traffic light” was certified double platinum for surpassing 200 million streams, while his Heize collab “When it snows” was certified platinum after reaching 100 million streams.

Congratulations to all of the artists!
