Seo In Guk and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo may star in a new drama together!
On September 10, industry insiders reported that Seo In Guk will star in the new drama “Monthly Boyfriend” (literal title) as the male lead.
In response to the report, Seo In Guk’s agency Story J Company shared, “Seo In Guk received a casting offer to star in the new drama ‘Monthly Boyfriend’ and is currently reviewing the offer positively.”
“Monthly Boyfriend” is a romance drama set in a virtual world where one can subscribe to a boyfriend, and the connections made in the virtual world continue into real life. The drama will be helmed by director Kim Jung Sik of “Work Later, Drink Now,” “Strong Girl Namsoon,” and the on-air drama “No Gain No Love.”
Earlier in August, Jisoo was revealed to be in talks for the drama as the female lead.
