Two South Korean television series occupy the first two places in the latest weekly ranking of the most watched non-English television programs on Netflix, according to the latest ranking update published this Wednesday by the streaming platform.
The cable channel tvN’s romantic series “Queen of Tears” and the entertainment series “100% Physical! – Season 2 – Underground” placed first and second respectively on the chart. The soap opera recorded 4,3 million views while the reality series racked up 4,2 million views during the period from March 25 to 31.
“Queen of Tears,” starring Kim Ji-won and Kim Soo-hyun, follows the story of a married couple who rekindle the flame of their love after a series of marital crises. “100% physical!” follows one hundred physically fit competitors as they compete in multiple challenges to determine who is the best among them, regardless of age and gender. A prize of 300 million won ($238.890) is reserved for the winner. The final two episodes aired on Tuesday.
