The last episode of Pyramid Game aired on March 21. During the episode Baek Ha-rin welcomed Sung Soo-ji and Myung Ja-eun to Haneul House, revealing her true identity as Yang So-eun. The scene then cuts to the past, where Ha-rin was bullied by her classmates after Ja-eun revealed that she was an orphan. Ja-eun remained a spectator when So-eun fell victim to these bullies

The scene then cuts to the present, where Ja-eun questions Han-rin about the reasons for her deep hatred. In response, the latter slapped her. She said it was because of the incident on the main building staircase last year. The scene shifts to the hospital when Soo-ji and Ja-eun talk about their roles as bystanders when someone is being bullied. Meanwhile, Han-rin’s mother hatches an evil plan.

Suddenly, several social networks and YouTubers start accusing Soo-ji of being a bully and a suspect in a fire at Hanuel House. At the same time, Han-rin appears as a victim. Netizens start accusing Soo-ji’s father of being a violent officer again. Han-rin planned to be adopted by President Byun Cho-soon’s son and wife, who had no children, in order to escape bullying. She impressed the president with her determined look and was adopted. However, after her adoption, she did not receive love from her parents and studied hard to gain her grandmother’s approval.

The scene shifted to the past, where Han-rin was treated like an outcast by teachers and students. She revealed that the real Pyramid game began at Hanuel House. The police took Soo-ji to the station, where they questioned her about the owner of the lighter and she told them it was Han-rin. Afterwards, his friends decided to do something to get Soo-ji out of this bad situation. Jae-Hyeong and Ja-eun approached a righteous reporter while Ye-lim announced her choice not to debut since she was part of the pyramid game.

Mrs. Choi admits to Na-Hee, a literature teacher, that she has a video of Soo-ji being bullied by her classmates. She gave it to the latter to denounce the violence that reigns at school. Subsequently, the video went viral on social media, and many of Soo-ji’s friends shared it online, in order to expose the dark side of Baekyeon’s all-girls high school. Meanwhile, Ja-eun confessed to being a bystander in Class 5 while her friend was being bullied.

In Pyramid game, Ye-lim sent a message to Cho Woo-ri telling her that he missed her, to which the latter screamed in excitement. Seung-hwa convinced Woo-ri to share her experience of harassment to free herself from her trauma. She shared her painful story of being bullied, forced to do a striptease and more during a live stream. She revealed that Han-rin bullied her because the latter stepped on Woo-ri’s foot.

Meanwhile, Ja-eun called Soo-ji about the incident that happened on the main building’s staircase the year before. Ja-eun remembers her meeting with Han-rin, where they met again after many years and the former inquired about her well-being. Han-rin was full of anxiety as she watched Ja-eun not regret leaving her alone when she was being bullied at the Haneul house.

The scene then cuts to the Hanuel house, where Soo-ji refutes Han-rin’s self-pity and states that she is behaving like a victim. Even then, Ja-eun sobs uncontrollably and admits that she should have called Han-rin and apologized. Suddenly, a fire breaks out and Han-rin faints. Ja-eun rushes to rescue her, while the firefighters break the windows of Pyramid Game.

Soo-ji leaked the corruption report with the help of Seung-Hwa and Teacher Na-Hee, respectively. Police began searching the school and arrested those involved. Seo Do-A and Soo-ji discuss the former’s expulsion over a sweet drink. The episode also shows that Seo Do-A plans to take the GED (white baccalaureate).

Meanwhile, Baek Hyun-Joon dissolves Han-rin’s adoption and declares her a psychopath. Ha-rin found herself in a hospital among elderly people, where no one remembered her name. Ultimately, she was abandoned because of her actions.

Baekyeon Girls’ High School changed its name to Miryo Girls’ High School, and Soo-ji and her friends became high school seniors. They finally returned to a normal life and the teacher Na-hee got her job back. The Miryo group twins transferred to school and planned to play the pyramid game at school. Entering the classroom, Sung Soo-ji looked at them with defiant eyes.

  • Will there be a second season for Pyramid Game?

Pyramid Game left viewers on a cliffhanger, as the new characters, the Miryo twins, were introduced at the end of episode 10. They expressed their intention to play Pyramid Game again, which foreshadows the renewal of the series for a second season. However, no official statement has been made by TVING yet, and fans are eagerly waiting for the Pyramid Game Season 2 announcement.
