Netflix’s “Gyeongseong Creature” Season 2 has unveiled new stills of the cast!
Set in the dark times of Spring 1945, Season 1 of “Gyeongseong Creature” told the story of an entrepreneur and a sleuth who must fight for survival and face a monster born out of human greed. In Season 2, the unfinished story continues in Seoul of 2024 where Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee), who survives the spring of Gyeongseong, meets Ho Jae, who resembles Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon).
The newly released stills depict Jang Ho Jae (Park Seo Joon), the vice president of Bugang Sangsa, a private agency that handles any request for money. His appearance closely resembles Jang Tae Sang, the head of Gyeongseong’s top pawnshop Geumokdang, sparking curiosity about his hidden story. From his detective-like look—complete with sunglasses and a leather jacket—to his desperate search for someone, Jang Ho Jae teases thrilling events to come. Park Seo Joon brings a new charm to Ho Jae, distinct from Tae Sang’s character in 1945, drawing viewers deeper into the story.
Stills of Yoon Chae Ok, who has lived to the present day without aging after consuming Najin (parasite worm species), are striking. Once a tracker, Chae Ok now takes on missing person cases and goes by the nickname Eun Je Bi. The images of her in a black hood suggest a life spent suppressing the instincts and desires awakened by Najin, raising questions about the choices she will make. Standing among numerous enemies, her swift, almost superhuman movements build anticipation for Han So Hee’s portrayal of Chae Ok’s intense, powerful action scenes.
Lee Moo Saeng plays the role of Captain Kuroko, a leader who commands the elite agents known as the Kurokos and crafts secret plans in Jeonseung Pharmaceuticals’ lab. With cold, ruthless judgment and a willingness to commit brutal acts, he also exudes a commanding charisma while leading his team. Captain Kuroko is decisive in pursuing his goals and is determined to use the dark secrets of Jeonseung Pharmaceuticals into practice.
Bae Hyeon Seong plays Seung Jo, a standout member of the Kurokos, the secretive operatives of Jeonseung Pharmaceuticals, known for his exceptional skills. Stills of Seung Jo, showing a menacing yet sorrowful gaze, spark curiosity about his story. He instantly recognizes Chae Ok, who has similar abilities, and begins to relentlessly pursue her, adding intrigue to the mysterious events that will unfold around them.
“Gyeongseong Creature” Season 2 is set to premiere on September 27.
