Netflix’s “Gyeongseong Creature” Season 2 has unveiled new stills of the cast!
Set in the dark times of Spring 1945, Season 1 of “Gyeongseong Creature” told the story of an entrepreneur and a sleuth who must fight for survival and face a monster born out of human greed. In Season 2, the unfinished story continues in Seoul of 2024 where Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee), who survives the spring of Gyeongseong, meets Ho Jae, who resembles Jang Tae Sang (Park Seo Joon).
The newly released stills spark interest by showing characters in 2024 Seoul, contrasted with the dark, historical backdrop of 1945 Seoul.
The spotlight is on Ho Jae, who looks just like Tae Sang, the head of Gyeongseong’s top pawnshop Geumokdang. As the deputy at the private agency Bugang Sagang, Ho Jae takes on any case that pays. While undercover at a crime scene, he witnesses a mysterious murder. Now a prime suspect, he tries to clear his name by tracking down another person he saw at the scene, Chae Ok.
Meanwhile, after consuming Najin (parasite worm species) that left her neither human nor monster, Chae Ok lives in the present day under the alias Eun Je Bi, helping to find missing persons. By chance, she comes across Ho Jae, who looks like Tae Sang, at a crime scene. Although confused at first, Chae Ok soon suspects that non-human entities are involved in the case and works hard to uncover the truth.
The images show Ho Jae and Chae Ok confronting each other, along with Chae Ok being captured and Ho Jae injured. These moments suggest a difficult path ahead as they seek the truth, sparking curiosity about how their story will unfold.
Meanwhile, Jeonseung Pharmaceutical may look ordinary on the surface, but it runs a secretive underground lab. This brings to mind the dark experiments once conducted at Gyeongseong’s Ongseong Hospital using Najin. Captain Kuroko (Lee Moo Saeng) leads the elite, shadowy agents known as Kurokos. His cold, ruthless demeanor and readiness to attack without hesitation add to the tension.
Among the Kurokos, Seung Jo (Bae Hyeon Seong) is notable for his exceptional strength. He uses his tentacles to attack people ruthlessly without concealing his power. A still image of Seung Jo confronting Chae Ok highlights the intense tension between them as Seung Jo quickly identifies Chae Ok as one of his own. This scene adds to the intrigue surrounding Seung Jo’s relentless pursuit of Chae Ok and Ho Jae.
Season 2 of “Gyeongseong Creature” has unveiled eye-catching stills highlighting the dynamic and intense looks of its characters. The upcoming season is set to offer a gripping story with intertwining fates and unpredictable challenges.
