At a press screening for Hidden Face on November 13th at Megabox COEX in Seoul, Park Ji Hyun opened up about the challenges of tackling her role, which includes intense nude and sex scenes that have already sparked attention.
“It was a major challenge as an actor,” Park began. “When I take on a character, I always ask myself if I can bring it to life authentically and make it my own. It’s something I always wrestle with.”

Addressing the attention around her explicit scenes, Park shared, “I didn’t calculate the level of nudity,” but admitted, “To say there wasn’t any pressure would be a lie. But the pressure wasn’t so much about the nudity itself—it was more about whether I could genuinely portray Mi Joo and do justice to the scenes.”
Park credited the collaborative environment with director Kim Dae Woo and her co-stars, saying, “Through constant communication with the director and other cast members, I gained confidence in the role. I learned so much during the process, and no matter the outcome, I feel fulfilled just by what I gained from this experience.”
