Park Ji Hyun, who recently set screens ablaze with her intimate scenes alongside Song Seung Heon in Hidden Face, showcases her confident and quirky charm in a newly released photoshoot.
The star graces the January issue of GQ Korea with a sensual yet playful spread. The photos capture Park’s free-spirited essence through various looks—from a ruffled shirt paired with jeans and bare feet, to a sheer blouse with glasses, and an edgy combination of a black mini dress with a bomber jacket.
In the accompanying interview, Park shared candid thoughts about her acting journey. Recalling her first moment of acting euphoria, she reminisced about her early days in acting school: “I was just starting out. The academy held auditions every three months. We had to do three things—a freestyle monologue, improvisation, and show a special talent. I chose a comedy script for my freestyle piece.” She continued, “When the judges started laughing at my performance, I felt this incredible thrill for the first time. To witness people’s reactions right in front of my eyes… I had always thought making people laugh was really difficult.”
When asked about the highest form of praise she could receive as an actor, Park responded, “When someone says ‘I want to work with you again,’” adding, “But I don’t pretend or change myself (to achieve this). People can always tell when you’re forcing something. They can feel it. So I try to stay true to myself and give my best.”
Park’s thriller Hidden Face has surpassed 1 million viewers, and she’s now venturing into comedy with her upcoming film Forbidden Fairytale, set to release on January 8th, 2025.
