The upcoming film “The Man Who Lives with the King” (literal title) has announced its cast lineup!
On October 25, the film’s production team announced the full lineup, featuring Park Ji Hoon, Yoo Hae Jin, Yoo Ji Tae, Jeon Mi Do, Kim Min, with special appearances by Lee Jun Hyuk and Park Ji Hwan.
Directed by the famous director Jang Hang Jun, “The Man Who Lives with the King” follows the story of a village chief and the townspeople who care for a young, dethroned king in exile.
Yoo Hae Jin will star as the village chief of Gwangcheonggol, a secluded mountain village.
Park Ji Hoon will play the role of the young king, recently dethroned and exiled to the remote village of Gwangcheonggol.
Yoo Ji Tae will portray the most powerful figure of the era, while Jeon Mi Do joins the cast as the court lady of the exiled king.
Kim Min will appear as the village chief’s son, while Lee Jun Hyuk and Park Ji Hwan will add a touch of intrigue with their special cameo roles.
“The Man Who Lives with the King” is set to begin filming in the first half of next year after completing pre-production in the latter half of this year.
