Authorities are investigating the sudden death of Park Bo Ram, who passed away on the night of April 11th. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
According to the Namyangju South Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, the National Institute of Scientific Investigation (NIS) will now perform the autopsy on April 15th. “It was originally scheduled for the 13th, but it was postponed for two days,” police told Dispatch.
Due to the autopsy, preparations for her funeral have been delayed. Park Bo Ram’s agency will be working with the family to arrange a mortuary and funeral service once a date and time are confirmed.
Park Bo Ram was found in cardiac arrest at a friend’s house during a social gathering on the night of April 11th. A friend immediately called emergency services and attempted CPR, but unfortunately, she did not survive.
“She was unconscious upon arrival,” the fire department reported to Dispatch. “Paramedics continued CPR efforts, but she never regained consciousness.”
The police are currently investigating the circumstances of the death. Park Bo Ram had no other external injuries at the time. The NIS autopsy is expected to provide more clarity on the cause of death.
