Park Bo Ram passed away at the age of 30. Her agency, XANADU Entertainment, confirmed the news on April 12th, 2024.

“It is with heavy hearts that we share this heartbreaking news,” the agency stated in a statement. Reports indicate that the singer passed away suddenly yesterday afternoon.

“The entire XANADU Entertainment family, including fellow artists and staff, are deeply saddened by this loss,” the statement continued. “We offer our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and extend our heartfelt apologies to Park Bo Ram’s fans for having to deliver this sudden news.”

The label added, “We kindly ask that you refrain from making speculative reports so that the bereaved family and colleagues can mourn the deceased in peace. The funeral arrangements will be made in consultation with the bereaved family.”

“Once again, we offer our deepest condolences to the deceased on their final journey,” the agency concluded.

Bora Park rose to fame in 2010 after appearing on Mnet’s audition program Superstar K2. She made her official debut in 2014 with the song “Beautiful” and went on to release several hit songs, including “Pretty Bae,” “CELEPRETTY,” “Why, You?,” and “Will Be Fine.”
