Park Bo Gum graces the cover of ELLE Korea’s October issue, showcasing his sharp, athletic look for his upcoming role in JTBC’s Good Boy. The photoshoot captures his effortless charm and elegance, paired with Celine’s signature style.

In the accompanying interview, Park reflected on his journey both as an actor and an individual. “Each day is a moment that won’t return. I’m grateful that my life gets captured in these shoots, and answering these questions today helps me discover new things about myself. I’m still learning who I am.”

Currently filming Good Boy, where he plays Dong Ju, a national boxing champion turned police officer, Park opened up about his character and the intense work behind the scenes. “Like Dong Ju, I’m living every day with energy and discipline. Every episode has an action scene, so it’s not easy, but I’m fully committed to this challenge. I’m praying that everyone in the cast and crew stays healthy and safe until the very end.”

When asked about his remarkable physical transformation, which has fans comparing him to a real national athlete, Park revealed, “To look the part of a national athlete, I’ve adjusted my diet to increase muscle mass. It wasn’t easy at first, eating only protein and vegetables, but I’m giving it my all. I have so much respect for people who maintain their health and muscles through strict diets and consistent workouts.”

As for his personal “gold medal” moment, Park shared, “I think it’s when a project I’ve worked on is loved by the audience, and when people remember the names of the characters I’ve portrayed.”
