ONE PACT’s agency ARMADA ENT has released a statement regarding Jay Chang’s absence from the group’s upcoming comeback.
On May 16, ARMADA ENT announced that Jay Chang will be unable to take part in ONE PACT’s upcoming album as he is set to participate in activities with B.D.U, the new vocal boy group formed through Mnet’s reality survival show “Build Up,” where Jay emerged as the winner.
Below is the agency’s full statement:
Hello, this is ARMADA ENT.
First of all, we’d like to sincerely thank all the fans who have shown their anticipation and support for ONE PACT’s comeback.
Regarding the upcoming comeback, we would like to address the concerns and curiosity of many fans about the participation of member Jay.
Jay recently won first place in the program ‘Build Up,’ which earned him new opportunities. As a result, Jay will be participating in activities with another agency and B.D.U as part of the benefits of winning the program, and therefore, will not be able to partake in ONE PACT’s upcoming album.
Jay’s new challenges and activities will be important experiences for him and will greatly contribute to his future growth. ARMADA ENT and the members of ONE PACT respect and support Jay’s decision. We also extend our deep gratitude to the fans who support Jay’s choice.
Jay is a treasured member of ONE PACT. Whenever the timing and circumstances align, Jay will be active with ONE PACT again. We kindly ask fans to remember this and look forward to the day when Jay returns to the stage with ONE PACT.
As Jay is absent from this album, the remaining members of ONE PACT have prepared the album with even greater passion and effort. We ask for your kind support.
ARMADA ENT always values the precious opinions and feelings of the fans, and we will continue to strive to strengthen communication with fans in the future. We ask for your love and support for both ONE PACT and Jay.
Thank you.
