The casting for Crush has officially been announced.

Crush is a short-form spin-off series of film Asia, which explores the stories of diverse individuals confronting racial hatred and discrimination, featuring a multinational cast from the U.S. and over seven Asian countries. Kim Yeji, the 2024 Paris Olympics silver medalist, and Indian global star Anushka Sen have been cast as assassins in the series.

You Minguk, CEO of Kim Yeji’s agency Plfill, expressed excitement about Kim’s debut as a captivating assassin alongside world-class actors in the global mega-project Asia, stating that it will be a great gift for fans worldwide upon its release.

Anushka Sen, one of India’s top actresses, started as a child actor and has since become a mega-influencer with 40 million Instagram followers. She is currently enjoying immense popularity both in India and abroad as the lead in a drama series that ranked number one on Amazon Prime India. As an artist under Asia Lab’s global management based in Korea, she is also a 2024 Korean Tourism Ambassador, playing a key role in connecting the cultures, arts, and entertainment of Korea and India.

Anushka Sen is expected to showcase a new side of herself to global fans with her exceptional acting skills and dynamic action scenes in this series.

Lee Jungsub, CEO of Asia Lab and director of the film, stated, “The joint casting of Anushka Sen and Kim Yeji as assassins in the spin-off short-form series will be a groundbreaking moment for global short-form content.”

The already-released teaser trailer for the film has garnered over 30 million views on various social media platforms, captivating global audiences with its intense visuals and storyline.
