NMIXX’s Haewon has suffered a minor back injury.

On June 28, JYP Entertainment announced that Haewon had injured her back during practice this week and would therefore be performing seated at MBC’s 2024 midyear special “Music Core in Japan” this weekend. According to the agency, while her injury is not serious enough to affect her everyday life, the doctor advised that she needs to refrain from excessive movement for the time being.

Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.

NMIXX member Haewon sustained a minor back injury during practice this week, so she visited the hospital and underwent a thorough examination.

The results [of her examination] were that while her everyday life will not be affected, the doctor advised that she needs to refrain from excessive movement. In accordance with the doctor’s recommendation, she will temporarily avoid excessive moment and focus on her treatment.

Therefore, we are informing you that Haewon will be performing seated at the 2024 midyear special “Music Core in Japan” that is scheduled to take place on June 29 and 30.

We will consider our artist’s health our top priority and do our utmost so that she can make a speedy recovery.
