Ex-Big Bang member Seungri has found himself in hot water yet again after an event poster went viral on social media showcasing Seungri on the cover as the host of a ‘Burning Sun Surabaya’ party in Indonesia.
The controversial poster spread like wildfire on Saturday after TVS Management, an international event organizer, announced that Seungri would appear as a special guest for their K-Pop nightclub party “Burning Sun Surabaya” in Indonesia on Aug. 31st on their social media.
The incident is notoriously known and fans felt it completely ill-mannered for Seungri to continue his party life in South East Asia. Now, netizens have commented how much Seungri truly shows no remorse after even naming an event ‘Burning Sun’ after the club incident that caused so many problems in his personal life and those around him.
However, soon after the post went viral, Seungri personally denied the claims of his appearance in the Indonesian Burning Sun club event, and refuted the event information posted by TSV Management. Seungri and his agency claimed that Seungri will be taking legal action against the claim for slander and illegal use of his image. However, after the news of Seungri appearing at parties, photos circulating of him meeting with various women, and his misuse of Big Bang’s image, netizens have found his behavior appalling and deemed him a “disgrace to our country” on social media and more. Seungri has even gone as far to promise his followers that he would invite G-Dragon to future events. After the infamous ‘Burning Sun’ Scandal where former idols and other celebrities were found guilty of drugging, raping, and sharing explicit videos of female victims in a chatroom went viral back in 2019, the now freely roaming celebrities, especially Seungri, continue to find themselves in trouble and facing backlash from the public for their actions.
