The beloved crime variety show “Crime Scene” is set to make its highly anticipated return!
On September 26, Netflix announced that “Crime Scene” will officially return with a new season as a Netflix original variety show.
“Crime Scene” is Korea’s first RPG (role playing game) mystery variety show where the cast and guests take on various roles to solve a murder case. After a seven-year hiatus, the show made a successful return last year with a star-studded cast that included Jang Jin, Park Ji Yoon, Jang Dong Min, SHINee’s Key, Joo Hyun Young, and IVE’s An Yu Jin.
A Netflix representative remarked, “We’re thrilled to introduce the new chapter of ‘Crime Scene,’ which has opened new horizons for mystery variety shows, to fans in Korea and around the globe through Netflix.”
Yoon Hyun Joon, who has directed all previous seasons, added, “We wanted to share the excitement of ‘Crime Scene,’ which has been so well-loved, not only with domestic fans but also with audiences worldwide. We ask for your support and interest in ‘Crime Scene’ new journey.”
