NCT’s Doyoung is topping music charts across the globe with his official solo debut!
On April 22 at 6 p.m. KST, Doyoung released his first solo album “YOUTH,” along with its soaring title track “Little Light.”
Shortly after its release, “Little Light” debuted at No. 1 on Bugs’ realtime chart, and it also reached No. 2 on Melon’s Hot 100 (for songs released within the last 100 days) and No. 21 on the Top 100.
Meanwhile, “YOUTH” soon shot to the top of iTunes charts in various countries all over the world. By April 23, the album had already hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 13 different regions including Chile, Colombia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Belarus, Russia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines. “YOUTH” also entered the top 10 in 19 different regions including Japan, Brazil, Australia, Mexico, Turkey, and Brunei.
Meanwhile, “YOUTH” topped QQ Music’s and KuGou Music’s digital album sales charts in China, along with Line Music’s realtime Top 100 Albums chart in Japan.
